Meet Jess | Founder & Lead Makeup Artist
Welcome to Sharpe Faces, a luxury bridal and occasion makeup studio founded by professional makeup artist Jess.
With over a decade of experience in the makeup industry and hundreds of beautiful brides in my portfolio, I have built my career around a genuine passion for makeup artistry, an eye for detail and the belief that beautiful makeup should always feel like you.
My journey began with on makeup counters from the age of 17 working with established brands Chanel & MAC , where I spent over seven years developing my artistry, refining my techniques and gaining invaluable experience working with a diverse range of faces, skin types and individual styles. This foundation has shaped the artist I am today and continues to influence my approach to creating beautifully polished, timeless makeup.
Following the birth of my second child, I took the exciting step of establishing Sharpe Faces. What began as a passion for making women look and feel their most confident has grown into an established and highly regarded makeup business, welcoming clients from across Peterborough, Cambridge, East Anglia and beyond.

Bridal makeup has always held a particularly special place in my career.
Having worked with hundreds of brides over the years, I understand that your wedding makeup is about so much more than simply looking beautiful. It’s about feeling comfortable, confident and completely yourself on one of the most memorable days of your life.
My signature approach combines beautifully perfected skin, soft definition and carefully considered details to create makeup that feels effortlessly elegant, photographs beautifully and stands the test of time.

Experience has taught me that a calm, organised and reassuring presence on a wedding morning is just as important as the makeup itself. It’s something I take great pride in bringing to every bridal booking.

Alongside bridal and occasion makeup, I offer personalised one-to-one makeup lessons, sharing my professional knowledge and techniques with those looking to refine their everyday routine or develop their own artistry.

I believe exceptional makeup begins with understanding the individual. No two faces are the same, and my approach is never one-size-fits-all.
Working with a carefully selected collection of premium beauty brands, including MAC, NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, Chanel and Bobbi Brown, I combine professional techniques with products I know and trust to achieve beautifully refined results.
Above all, my aim has always remained the same: to ensure every client leaves my makeup chair feeling confident, beautiful and, most importantly, like the very best version of themselves.
